Vessels

For centuries vessels have been compared to humanity.  The same way a vessel is able to carry something inside, we also carry many things inside ourselves; our soul, spirit, wounded pasts, treasured memories, and shining potential.  Just as there is no perfect person, there is no perfect pot.  I strive to allow my pieces to be a little more rough around the edges in an attempt to give them more humanity and tell my own story of beauty and brokenness.
